The Boxer requires relatively little grooming, but ownership of any dog is a definite responsibility. Boxers can be adequately exercised within a fenced area or on a leash. The Boxer has a tendency to keep himself clean, but it is the owner's responsibility to keep his nails trimmed to a reasonable length, and to keep his teeth clean as he ages. An occasional bath and currycombing should be all that he requires with the exception of the white boxer, who may require Sun block on hot days of summer.

IF IT IS HOT OUTSIDE, SHARE YOUR AIRCONDITIONING, IF IT IS COLD OUTSIDE, MOVE OVER IN THE BED AND SHARE A BLANKET. YOU HAVE JUST FOUND YOUR LIFE TIME BEST FRIEND.

Be aware Boxers are NOT outside dogs
The Boxer is sensitive to temperature extremes and does not enjoy drafts, summer heat, or cold.
Although your Boxer will be the first to want to jump in the pool or go sleigh riding with the children, it is vitally important to remember that when you start getting hot/cold, chances are so is your boxer. I tend to take mine inside and we share a sugar free pop-cycle in front of the AC…..then he loves me even more.
